Welcome to the website of ACRL/New England Chapter, where you can learn about our organization and activities.
ACRL/New England Chapter is a dynamic professional association with a mission to make a difference for libraries and the staff that work in them. We represent more than a twelve hundred academic librarians and library staff working together to meet the challenges of today’s modern and ever-changing academic libraries.
To meet these challenges and help librarians throughout New England, our chapter provides programs, scholarships, professional development, leadership training, networking, and continuing education opportunities.
If you have a particular interest, challenge, or strength, get involved in one of our many Special Interest Groups (SIGs)-- Library Instruction, Information Technology, Librarians on Online Course Information, Preservation, Access Services, Business Librarians, Collection Development, Women’s Studies, or Serials Group.
We also have an active and innovative Continuing Education Committee.
