About ITIG

The Information Technology Interest Group (ITIG) is a special interest group within the Association of College and Research Libraries, New England Chapter (ACRL/NEC).  ITIG was formed to address issues around the implementation, support, training, and use of information technology in libraries.  In November 1998, ITIG was approved by ACRL/NEC and held its first organizational meeting on February 5, 1999. The group offers programs, discussion groups, and information resources such as ITIG-L, our listserv---all of which are designed to help library staff share information about technology challenges and solutions. Possible future program topics may include networking research databases, next generation integrated library systems, and setting up a computer help desk.

Join Our Listserv, ITIG-L!

For more information, please visit the ITIG-L information page or contact Shikha Sharma, ITIG-L Moderator at shikha.sharma@uconn.edu.

Join ITIG

All interested ACRL/NEC members are encouraged to join. ITIG provides ACRL/NEC members with a great opportunity to play an active role in introducing new programs and services to the ACRL/NEC community, while networking with colleagues who share an interest in technology.
